Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
With major corporations admitting to mis-stating financial
results, shredding evidence and other acts of fraud, it's no
surprise that the US economy is in a recession. Last year many dot
com companies closed their doors; this year major companies have
laid off over 150,000 jobs and some may soon declare bankruptcy.
What about you? Who or what is in control of your life? Do you
fear another terrorist attack, worry about your financial
situation or wonder about your future? Does it seem like the world
is falling apart? Our security can come from our own means,
perhaps education, wealth or career. Or security can come from God
and our trust in Him as the source of wealth, power, and
protection.
In Jeremiah 24:7, God commands, "Return with a
Heart to Know God". As Christians, we need to honestly
evaluate ourselves. After we have been revived by God, we need to
return to Him with our whole heart so we may live as His people
and have the determination to live His Word.
My dear brothers and sisters, in view of God’s grace, I invite you
to come to this year’s conference. God has prepared your heart to
know Him and return to Him. It is my prayer, that through this
conference, you will move closer to Him, be rooted in His Word,
and continue to grow in Him.
